Locums Radiation Oncologist Outpatient Only Dubuque, IA (IMLC accepted)Why This Role?

No call, inpatient rounding, or weekend coverage

Work with a well-supported oncology team and treat a consistent patient volume

Temp privileges available to expedite start

Assignment Details Start Date : As soon as credentialed

End Date : Ongoing

Coverage Type : Scheduled Clinical Hours Only

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8a-4 : 30p with 30-minute lunch

Shifts : Must be available for 4-week blocks (can take time off between blocks)

EMR : Aria

Patient Population : Adults only

Trauma Level : 2

Clinical Details Outpatient radiation oncology only

Avg 20-25 patients / day (weekly treatment visits, follow-ups, consults)

No call and minimal inpatient volume (0-1 / day)

Only one radiation oncologist on site

Requirements Board certified in Radiation Oncology

Active IA license or active IMLC

Must be able to commit to 4-week stretches

COVID vaccine

Aria experience highly preferred

Clean history

Skills Needed Conventional Radiotherapy

3D Radiotherapy and 3D-CRT

External Beam Radiation (IMRT, IGRT)

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)

Stereotactic Radiosurgery

Photon Beam Radiation Therapy

Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy
