Job Description :
We are currently seeking Forklift Operators to join our team at our Pooler Branch location in Pooler GA. Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, as well as maintaining inventory levels to prevent stock outs.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare shipments to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring items are properly secured for transport.
- Communicate inventory levels to the Warehouse Supervisor or immediate supervisor to prevent stock outs.
- Distribute book reorders to branch picking aisles as needed.
- Provide backup support for shipping / receiving, including loading and unloading containers.
- Return all merchandise to its proper location promptly, ensuring items are handled with care to avoid damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist other Associates in completing tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.
- Have a strong understanding of cycle counting and inventory control procedures.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with the schedule.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and procedures.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed.
