The Role
As an Equipment Technician , you will play a key role in keeping our packaging equipment running smoothly. You’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support changeovers, and help resolve mechanical and technical issues to ensure production stays on track.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with mechanical systems, and making a direct impact on production and patient safety.
We are hiring for 5 positions spread between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
What You’ll Do
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Conduct regular inspections, repairs, and adjustments on packaging machinery.
Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills.
Maintain accurate equipment history and maintenance documentation.
Safety & Cleanliness
Uphold safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Changeovers & Equipment Setup
Support smooth changeovers by setting up and adjusting packaging machinery for new product runs.
Perform line clearances and prepare production lines for startup.
Conduct equipment tests to verify performance and product quality.
Inventory & Procurement
Support spare parts inventory management.
Work with procurement to order parts and supplies as needed.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Professional Certificates / Associate 's Degree Preferred but not required.
Technical skills gained through education or hands-on experience.
Basic knowledge of pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Familiarity with cGMP and safety principles (training provided if not completed).
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Regular bending, squatting, standing, climbing, and handling objects.
Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working around moving machinery and moderate noise.
