Roles and Responsibilities
Influence, establish and execute integrated communication plans for division campaigns, programs and initiatives. Drive and develop communications campaigns to support business imperatives, strategic priorities and to drive a common culture. Lead SDS Division Communications team coordination and facilitate collaboration with division and sector functional partners. Prioritize, organize and support the division communications efforts to achieve defined and measurable goals and objectives. Deliver captivating, relevant information to key stakeholders using a multi-channel approach.
Basic Qualifications
Requires US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance. Requires a bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a master's degree; or 12 years of related experience may be accepted with a HS Diploma in lieu of a degree. Requires experience in Communications, Journalism, English or closely related field. Requires experience of leadership success with substantial change communications projects. Requires experience with executive-level written and verbal communications. Requires experience developing successful and innovative communications programs with proven business results.
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance. Experience managing people. Strong relationship building skills; proven track record of building collaborative partnerships as the basis for being able to influence direction and drive change at every level of organization.

This position's standard work schedule is 9 / 80. The 9 / 80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. Primary Level Salary Range : $133,400.00 - $200,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
