Brief Job Overview
The Director, Global Business Development, Biologics is a senior level position leading the global commercial strategy and execution for USP portfolio of standards for the Biopharmaceutical industry. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving global revenue growth, expanding market presence, and accelerating USP’s impact across the biopharmaceutical industry worldwide.
As a commercial leader, you will oversee global sales operations and distribution channels across six major regions : North America, Latin America, Europe & MEA, APAC, Greater China, and South Asia and will be accountable for meeting revenues and units’ growth annual targets for Biologics market. You will lead a geographically dispersed sales team, foster high-level customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally with BIO Marketing, BIO Science and Customer Service leadership to deliver exceptional customer experience and achieve commercial objectives.
You will lead creation and execution of business plans to position USP portfolio of standards for long term growth. Your focus and that of your team will be on identifying, understanding and supporting resolution of key quality challenges that developers and manufacturers of biologics drugs are routinely facing. You will also be in charge of positioning USP in new high growth therapeutic fields (Cell and gene therapies, nucleic acid drugs, monoclonal antibodies) and markets globally.
The successful candidate will be results driven, with a passion for building high performance organizations. They will enjoy working with people collaboratively, strengthening customer relationships, and developing their network in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical community.
We are searching for a person who wants to grow and develop their own career, a commercial leader with a passion for opening new doors and creating new opportunities. This is a remote position but does require up to 40% domestic and international travel. This is a supervisory level position with team reporting in different geographies.
This is a remote opportunity traveling 40-50% to client sites and must reside in PA or MD / DC / VA.

Compensation
Base Salary Range : USD $160,700.00 – $213,700.00 annually.
Target Annual Bonus : % Varies based on level of role.
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate’s skill set, experience, qualifications, equity, and other job-related reasons.
