Position Summary

The Production Associate (Receiving) works in coordination with the Account Managers and Production Manager to ensure that product is available timely for customer store launches and kitting jobs.  Once product is received, they work with the Production Manager to lead other Production Associates in picking and shipping product to fulfill store orders or to prepare kits for shipment. The Production Associate (Receiving) is expected to cross-train on print production and mailing equipment to support the entire production team when receiving and kitting is slow.  Brandscape holds high standards for quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.  The Production Associate (Receiving) must notice and correct tiny inconsistencies between kits and mailpieces; and ensure consistency between a job ticket and a finished product.  This position has the opportunity for increasing responsibilities, specialization, and advancement should business needs and employee performance support that.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

Receiving (estimated 20%)

• Match all incoming shipments to an open order OR route to customer service.
• Count all incoming product, reconcile to packing list, and log into inventory software.
• Route received product to storage or production areas.
• Consult with Account Managers about incorrect and damaged shipments.
• Perform inventory counts as requested.

Production – Kitting (estimated 20%)

Production – Print and Mail (estimated 60%)

Performing scheduled preventative maintenance.

While some production equipment generates bursts of noise, the work environment is comparable to a normal office noise level.

The work area is indoors in a warehouse type building with smooth concrete floors. The lights, heating, and air conditioning are centrally controlled.

Production activities produce dust and small paper debris.
