Job description
Position: MRI Technologist - FT Evenings Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Id: 1414 # of Openings: 0 We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a Full Time MRI Technologist - Evenings for our mid town Charlotte office.   • Completed an accredited radiography or MRI education program.
  • Current registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI
  • CT Certified a plus
  • CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, think and plan ahead, show initiative, possess excellent communication skills and work effectively on a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepares and operates MRI equipment per physician instructions. Will provide coverage for Fonar-Upright MRI and GE mobile MRI.
  • Screens patients/family members for MR safety prior to procedure.
  • Administers IVs and contrast media as directed and per protocol.
  • Understands and uses the PACS system.
  • Maintains related information in patient EMR charts with proper coding.
  • Adheres to all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
  • Works with our in-house health care team consisting of Neurosurgeons, Physiatrists, and APPs to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
  • Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork.
  • Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
