Job description

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pulmonology MD in South Dakota!

About The Position

We are seeking a Pulmonologist for a locum tenens assignment in South Dakota starting Jan 19, 2026. This position offers a 38-day contract with a schedule of 8-10 shifts per month plus back up call. The ideal candidate will have experience in pulmonary consultations and hold the appropriate board certification.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide pulmonary consultations as required
  • Deliver high-quality patient care within the scope of pulmonology
  • Participate in scheduled shifts and back up call coverage
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care

    • Additional Information

  • Must be board certified in Pulmonary Disease
  • Must hold a valid South Dakota medical license
  • Demonstrated experience in pulmonary consultations is required
