Job descriptionCreate and maintain engaging training programs and materials, ensuring alignment with company policies, manufacturer requirements, and industry standards. Training Delivery : Needs Assessment : Develop and maintain a visible training schedule and tracking system to ensure consistent delivery of required courses. Collaboration with Management : Incorporate feedback from management into training development and delivery. Performance Evaluation : Measure the effectiveness of training program deliverables and outcomes through various methods including but not limited to training evaluation forms and facilitated real-time feedback activities, incorporating improvements into future training strategies and execution. Working closely with Service department leadership, identifying Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) that are aligned with the specific training goals and outcomes, which can be utilized to evaluate the overall effectiveness of training. Proven experience in training and development, preferably in the service or automotive / forklift industry. Experience developing and executing training strategies and programs utilizing both in-person and remote facilitation techniques. Effective and engaging facilitation, communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Strong understanding of technical product knowledge and customer service best practices, preferably within the forklift or automotive industry Ability to analyze data, identify needs, and implement effective training strategies. Ability and willingness to travel over 50% of the time. Travel required

Job Description : Service Trainer
Position Summary :
The Service Trainer is responsible for the design delivery and effectiveness of comprehensive training programs that will equip service technicians with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in in their technical expertise and customer service. This position focuses on enhancing skills and competency through a well-formed training strategy, ensuring alignment with overall Service department business goals. This role will play a pivotal part in driving employee success, customer satisfaction, and overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Curriculum Development :
Develop and execute comprehensive Service department training programs covering manufacturer product knowledge, manufacturer-specific training requirements, technical troubleshooting, communication best practices, conflict resolution, and customer service excellence.
Conduct engaging training sessions using various facilitation methods, including in-person and online classroom instruction, role-playing, and simulations.
Working closely with Service Department leadership, analyzing customer feedback, employee performance metrics, and training gaps to inform overall training strategy and execution of said strategy.
Partner with Service Managers and Field Service Mangers to align the training strategy with overall Lift Solutions business goals.
Assess trainee progress through pre-defined training objectives and outcomes developed in partnership with Service department senior leadership.
