Your Role at a Glance : The key ways you'll bring value to the team

AI is rewriting how founders discover and trust brands. Google traffic is down, LLM answers are up, and generic SEO blogs are invisible. At Wayflyer, we’re responding with a content engine built for authority, discoverability, and commercial depth.

As our Senior Research Editor, you’ll lead the charge. This isn’t content marketing as usual. You’ll own the creation of flagship, research-grade content—monthly deep dives that drive pipeline, power SEO, feed LLMs, and build founder trust.

Think : Stripe Press storytelling with McKinsey-level rigour, repackaged to work across modern distribution. You’ll partner closely with marketing, product, and video to turn insight into assets that compound.

Lead the end-to-end production of monthly 30–50 page flagship content (research reports, playbooks, POVs, founder deep dives)

Turn proprietary Wayflyer data, customer insight, and expert interviews into market-defining content

Architect structured content arcs that feed SEO, LLM discovery, lead gen, sales enablement, and PR

Collaborate with Design and Video to turn each piece into a multi-channel asset suite (PDF, LP, blog, Shorts, Slides, email, etc.)

Work with demand gen to prioritise themes tied to real buyer pain and ICP intent

Set and enforce a 10 / 10 editorial bar—clarity, specificity, originality, and commercial insight

Interview founders, finance leaders, and internal experts to surface powerful narrative threads and quotes

Audit and refresh legacy blog content to bring it up to LLM + SEO standards

What Makes You a Great Fit

5+ years in content strategy, editorial, or research roles with a track record of high-output, high-impact work

You’ve led or ghostwritten long-form content with real substance : think 10,000-word guides, industry reports, or deep customer stories

You write with a clear spine—your content moves from setup → insight → recommendation with zero fluff

You can interview anyone—founders, CFOs, SMEs—and extract gold from a 30-minute chat

You know how to turn one flagship into many : LPs, Shorts, blogs, nurture emails, and social posts

You understand how LLMs, SEO, and CRO intersect with content—but you write for humans first

Comfortable working with dashboards, spreadsheets, and raw data (Notion, Google Sheets, Jira, Asana, etc.

Comfortable with data (Excel, Notion, dashboards) and extracting commercial insight from it.

How you'll stand out :

Experience with CMSs (Sanity, WordPress), SEO tools (SEMRush, Clearscope), or AI editors (Jasper, GPT, Claude)

Dublin, Our Buzzing HQ

Our headquarters operates a hybrid model. The number of in-office days depends on your team, but the majority of teams and our SLT are typically in 3-4 days per week, giving you valuable exposure to senior leadership.

London, One Big Family

Home to around 30 employees, our brand-new London office also runs on a hybrid model. You’ll often find our CEO working alongside the team with regular visits.

Sydney, Small but Mighty

Our close-knit Sydney office has around 20 employees and follows a flexible hybrid model, fostering strong collaboration.

Atlanta, New York & Charlotte, Stateside Collaboration
