Residential Solar Technical Writer

A company is looking for a Residential Product SME & Technical Writer.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on residential solar PV and battery energy storage systems, providing technical guidance

Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including manuals and training materials

Manage the documentation lifecycle, ensuring content is reviewed, approved, and published correctly

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience

Proven experience as a technical writer with a portfolio demonstrating various technical documents

Expertise in Microsoft Word for creating professional documentation

Experience with document version control and management systems like Confluence or Airtable

In-depth knowledge of residential solar PV and BESS, including system components and installation processes
