CPA Controller for Clinical Research

A company is looking for a Controller / Sr. Accountant in Clinical Research.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and execute all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP

Oversee all domestic and international tax matters and manage annual external financial audits

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in finance and accounting within the clinical research industry

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required

Working knowledge of ASC 606 and its application in clinical trial contracts

Experience managing relationships with external audit firms and accounting consultancies

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; Master's degree is a plus
