Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Regional Operations Director. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Regional Operations Director will lead the transformation and optimization of our behavioral health services across multiple facilities. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll drive operational excellence, implement innovative solutions, and directly influence the quality of care for thousands of patients while managing multi-million dollar P&L responsibilities.

Responsibilities :
Strategic Operations Leadership
Drive operational excellence across assigned facilities by developing and implementing scalable processes that improve quality, efficiency, and patient outcomesOwn P&L responsibility for multiple locations with combined revenue of $XX million, achieving targeted growth and profitability metricsLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to optimize workflows, reduce costs, and enhance service deliveryTeam Development & Management
Build and lead a high-performing team of Clinic Coordinators, Regional Nursing Managers, and support staff across multiple locationsCreate talent development programs that identify and cultivate future leaders while ensuring succession planning for critical rolesFoster a culture of accountability, innovation, and patient-centered care through effective coaching, performance management, and recognition programsCompliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure 100% compliance with CARF, state, federal, and RBHA requirements through systematic monitoring and proactive risk managementPartner with quality management teams to achieve and exceed clinical outcome targets and patient satisfaction scoresStakeholder Engagement
Represent the organization at state and federal agency meetings, building strategic relationships with regulators, payors, and community partnersCollaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and market expansionRequirements :
Education, Certification and Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field7+ years of progressive multi-site healthcare operations management experienceDemonstrated success managing P&L responsibilities of $5M+ with proven ability to drive revenue growth and margin improvementExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologiesStrong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, including CARF accreditation standardsProven ability to lead teams of 50+ employees across multiple locationsWillingness to travel 40-50% within assigned regionPreferred Qualifications
Experience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment settingsCertification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Project Management (PMP)Experience with electronic health records and healthcare analytics platformsTools and Equipment Requirements :
