Hinckley Yachts has been building and servicing America’s finest yachts since 1928.

The Hinckley Company, known for building and servicing, strong, seaworthy and beautiful yachts is seeking skilled boat builders, joiners, carpenters for our production facility in Topsham, Maine to perform intricate joiner, carpentry tasks on and off boats, following blueprints, and scale drawings with minimal supervision. You will work through standardized aspects of yacht construction for most models, as well as pre-fabrication within established schedule.

Working for our New Yacht Build Division you will get to be part of crafting beautiful, one of a kind Hinckley boat, in a climate-controlled shop year-round and enjoy Fridays off with our running schedule of Mon-Thursday - still getting your 40 Hours!

You are a great fit for this role if :

• You can transfer dimensions to marine plywood and other construction materials using tape measure, square and marking / layout devices. You are accurate, precise and take pride in your work.
• You are skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Good working knowledge of most woodworking joints in the marine industry, such as scarf, sill splice, lap, finger, and dovetail.
• Skilled knowledge and use of epoxies and vinylester resins or other adhesives to bond parts.
