Supervises : Seasonal Instructors

Start Date : October 2025

Expected Schedule :

5 days per week, schedule TBD based on personal training, fitness class and programming needs.

Group Fitness and Wellness Classes

Community Engagement Programs including book club, game nights, creative writing programs

Afterschool Youth Fitness and Wellness Programs

BASE Personal Training Program

BASE Equipment Orientations for new passholders

BSCO Outdoor Programs (Glide Big Sky, Bike Big Sky, Snowshoe Meet-ups, Hike Big Sky)

BSCO Employee Wellness Program

Assist with Youth Programs and Recreation Programs as needed

Position Summary

The Fitness and Wellness Coordinator is responsible for developing, supporting, and overseeing innovative fitness and wellness programs for our community and visitors. This role works closely with our programs and operations team to promote healthy community activities, enhance passholder engagement and retention, and ensure a clean and safe environment.

The ideal candidate has a passion for fitness and wellness and is an excellent community role model. They have exceptional compassion, communication, and leadership skills.

Essential Job Functions

Health, Wellness, Fitness Programming and Oversight (70%)

• Develop, coordinate, and teach a variety of BASE Fitness and Wellness Classes
• Organize and lead BSCO Outdoor Programs
• Perform equipment orientations with BASE passholders to promote safety when using fitness equipment.
• Develop a BASE personal training program
• Develop youth fitness programs
• Create fitness and wellness challenges to engage BASE passholders.
• Perform regular fitness equipment checks and maintenance
• Collaborate with the Programs and Operations Team to support BASE passholder growth.
• Support BASE’s Behavioral Health Initiatives by attending monthly Behavioral Health Coalition Meetings
• Create a BSCO Employee Wellness Program
• Ensure multipurpose rooms and fitness area are clean and tidy.
• Create and oversee Fitness and Wellness What’s App Account
