Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrols

As a Security Officer Unarmed Retail Patrols in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Tuesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wednesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday 08 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns within the retail environment.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as needed.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities and incidents.
  • Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance to customers and staff as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
