About the Role
Our client, a well-established organization in the professional services sector, is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to join their IT team. This onsite role involves providing real-time support for hardware, software, and business applications, ensuring smooth operations across the organization. The ideal candidate will be technically skilled, customer-focused, and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to IT support requests via Service Desk and phone systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and application issues.
- Support business applications including installation, patching, licensing, and performance monitoring.
- Assist with computer lifecycle management : imaging, deployment, inventory, and hardware support.
- Participate in meetings to provide technical input and gather requirements.
- Contribute to IT projects and complete assigned tasks within scope and budget.
- Maintain documentation and follow IT policies, procedures, and change management processes.
- Attend training sessions to enhance technical proficiency and customer service skills.
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in IT support.ITIL v4 Foundations certification preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.Strong understanding of basic computer hardware and peripherals.Experience with Service Desk systems and phone support tools.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.Ability to work various shifts and maintain consistent attendance.Preferred Attributes
Experience supporting business workflows and applications.Familiarity with internal IT policies and procedures.Ability to train end users and create clear documentation.Collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $82,000.00 / yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Omaha, NE.
