CONTROLENGINEER (ELECTRICAL CONTROLS) – HORMEL FOODS (HAYWARD, MN)

Join Hormel Foods as a Control Engineer to lead projects and develop equipment designs for our production operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

This position is accountable for control and electrical engineering development and execution of equipment design and engineering assignments of moderate to high complexity.

• Lead a project team to deliver moderate to highly complex process, machine, or system designs.
• Utilize machine design software and tools to make machines function as required per project requirements.
• Ensure an effective transfer of ownership of projects to the plant customer.
• Ensure all legal, regulatory, and internal requirements are adhered to during the project development and execution process.
• Document the design process as necessary.
• Lead, train, develop, and support the efforts of contract designers and engineering technicians.
• Develop and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
