Responsibilities

• Preparation of daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
• Assist with menu planning; review menus with supervisor to accommodate foods in season, vendor sale prices, special events, and holidays.
• Identify food and supplies needed for the next week's menus and report to the supervisor; maintain written inventories of food and dining supplies.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of food for infection control.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills.
• Competent in organizational, time management skills and demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
