About The Position

Experience : Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience

License : Valid nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, IV certification required

Must-Have :

• IV start skills and labor & delivery experience
• EPIC experience

Description :

Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts, with 12 nights every other week.

May float to units with similar acuity.

Patient ratios during nights : 3-4 dyads (6-8 patients).

Pre-approved time off available.

This is a 40-bed inpatient postpartum unit providing family-centered care to women and infants.

Patient diagnoses include vaginal delivery, cesarean section, and postpartum readmits.

Special procedures and unit details include care for healthy newborns and infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome.

Interdisciplinary support includes teams for IV, physical therapy, interpretation services, and social services.

Candidates must be aware of the urgency of the credentialing process.

All candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as possible after booking.

Professional references are required, including one from a manager or supervisor.

No coworker references will be accepted.

Candidates must have valid state licensure at the time of submission.
