Position Overview :

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the face of our company to patients visiting for routine health care or critical health decisions. The PSR II is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory testing, and strictly adhering to established practices and procedures. This role involves direct patient interaction, fostering an environment of trust and confidence, clearly explaining procedures, and performing blood draws skillfully, safely, and accurately. The PSR II exemplifies leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy regarding patient information. Assignments may include doctor's offices, patient service centers, or other locations as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Confidently perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established protocols.
• Verify patient demographic information, including patient initials and signature post-venipuncture, confirming that tubes were labeled correctly in their presence.
• Maintain and update required records and documentation diligently.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
