About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Shift : 2x3 days

Hours per Shift : 11 : 00 AM - 11 : 30 PM (Mon / Wed), 9 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 PM (Every Other Weekend)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of Radiology experience required

License : Licensed by the State Clienttion Control Board

Certifications : ARRT Registered- RT (R) or RT (N)

Must-Have : ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography preferred. If no CT License at the time of hire, the Technologist has one year to obtain a CT License. CPR certified

Description :

Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and operations manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation.

Performs all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age.

Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts.

Able to insert and remove IVs.

Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred.
