WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :

The Trade Desk is dedicated to the mission of supporting and growing the Open Internet. In this role, you will play a key part in helping shape the future vision for omnichannel advertising at The Trade Desk.

You will own the vision, roadmap and execution for various products. This can include working on UI / UX experiences, API experiences, data science models, data engineering pipelines and more. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners in other organizations, while also displaying the ability to "show up senior" in frequent executive forums. You will work with stakeholders across our UX / UI, Data Partnerships, Data Science, and Engineering Teams helping think through trade-offs in workflow implementations, visualizations, model approaches, and customer impact. You will also need to build a deep customer relationship with our agency, brand, and publisher partners to make products a success.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE :

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience where you demonstrated a sustained track record of making significant contributions to impactful projects.
  • Significant Product Management experience across diverse marketing channels and how they work together to drive performance both through UX and backend optimizations
  • A strong understanding of key buyer activities such as planning, activation and measurement.
  • Product Management experience within AdTech, including proficiency in AdTech auctions and a thorough understanding of DSPs, DMPs, CDPs, and Data Activation platforms.
  • A sustained track record of making significant, self-directed, and end-to-end contributions to large and impactful software projects.
  • You have built complex products that take years of iterations to become great.
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills both in large and small groups.
  • Ability to solve complex, technical problems with creative solutions while managing tradeoffs.

  • Entrepreneur you have a strong bias for action and use compelling, data-based arguments to convince others and generate progress with meaningful results.
  • Durability and grit - sometimes solutions take creative thinking and multiple iterations while dependencies solidify. You try many different approaches to the right answer.
  • Ability to write detailed specifications and vision documents that clearly articulate the 'why' behind the problem.
  • Strong interest in what computing can do a passion for technology and how to apply that to problems of massive scale.

  • Collaborative the best PMs are not necessarily those with the best ideas, but those that ensure the right thing gets done.
  • Selfless product management is about making sure the best work gets done by the team, and making sure they share in the credit.
  • Empathy as a product manager you are the voice of the customer and need to represent them from a position of deep understanding.

CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC residents only : In accordance with CO, CA, IL, NY, WA, and Washington DC law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$137,300 — $251,800 USD
