Master Diesel Technician

• Responsibilities :
• Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electronic problems
• Diagnostic abilities specifically Cummins engines, Detroit engines, Paccar engines, Volvo Mach engines and all make and models
• Ability to work on Farm equipment, Cranes, Forklifts, Buses, and be mobile when needed
• Perform general and detailed repair and installations of all trucks, engines, and components
• Provide mentorship, instruction , and advice to other technicians
• Required to operate diagnostic test equipment proficiently
• Complete all required shift documentation and report problems and concerns to the Shop Manager
• Attends training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his / her job description
• Uses ITTR equipment and resources safely and proficiently
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties
• Requirements :
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Drivers License (CDL preferred) (for test driving purposes)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines and related systems
• Advanced knowledge of diesel and fuel engine maintenance & repair
• ASE Certification in PM, brakes, , Electrical, and / or ASE Master Mechanic preferred
• Knowledgeable in using service software.

Pay : $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
