Position Overview : HDR is seeking a Data Center Substation Engineering Manager (EM) to join our Power Delivery team. This role involves leading, guiding, and advising on high voltage substation projects, leveraging your technical expertise and experience in design and construction.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Develop partnerships with Project Managers, overseeing technical execution and project deliverables.
• Create and implement project execution plans.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance to project team members.
• Support scope, schedule, and budget management, including proposals and risk assessments.
• Mentor and train engineering staff.
• Ensure quality control and review of project deliverables.
• Manage multiple projects across different locations.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical expertise.
• Contribute to technical papers and presentations for industry events.
• Participate in project reviews and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Preferred : Master's degree in Engineering, minimum 8 years' experience in high voltage substation design, PE license, experience with projects up to 500kV, proficiency with design software, strong communication, and team collaboration skills.

Required : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PE license, experience in power sector project execution, proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant design software.
