Job Summary
- The Project Manager works with the operations team to ensure that all services are delivered according to contract specifications, on budget, according to schedule, and with a high standard of quality.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Work well with the operations team members, leveraging their expertiseWork with the operations team to ensure that all services are delivered according to contract specifications, on budget, according to schedule, comply with all safety requirements, and with a high standard of qualityManage cost reports, analyze budget variances, and recommend strategies to lower project costs; review labor quantities and phases to facilitate accurate project trackingEnsure timely and accurate monthly job billingsAssist in the preparation of change orders and coordinate receivables and collections with the office administrative management teamServe as the main point of contact and trusted advisor to the customer on project installation issues.Gather and analyze customer needs and interests; build strong business relationships and provide solutions to challengesProvide customers with clear and easy-to-understand information about our high-quality products and services.Ensure that all jobs are completed according to plans, are within budget, and are completed according to deadlinesDeliver timely and accurate reports, financials, schedules, and budgets regularlyInspect all field work, analyzing and resolving problemsCollaborate with the internal team to convert construction projects to long-term maintenance contractsManage accurate monthly costs to complete reports, including backlog forecastingResponsible for the overall financials of the projectsEnsure that services are delivered according to contract specifications and drawings, are within budget, and on scheduleRepresent the company, interface, and build relationships with owners, clients, architects, general contractors, and subcontractorsDemonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity, as well as positively promote the Company culture regarding safety, quality, and customer serviceEducation and Experience :
BA in Landscape Architecture, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in the construction / landscaping industry with extensive field / build experienceProficient with computer software programs, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), scheduling, project management, and digitizing softwareStrong work ethicEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service experienceSuccess at uncovering customers’ “points of pain” and developing solutionsDriven, disciplined, and focusedEffective at building and maintaining trust-based professional relationshipsWorking at a fast pace and operating with a high sense of urgencyCoachable, trainable, and have a good sense of humorBilingual Spanish is a plusPhysical Demands / Requirements :
Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers / copiersAbility to physically perform the basic life operational functions of walking, standing, and kneeling.Work Environment :
