About the Position

Under general supervision of the COO, provide virtual and in-person crisis intervention counseling, individual and group therapy, and advocacy services to YWCA child and adult client's ages 5+.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

Administration

• Provide individual crisis counseling to YWCA SHR program participants
• Facilitate support groups for victims of interpersonal violence working occasional evenings to accommodate client's needs
• Maintain appropriate and time-sensitive client records and clinical documentation in accordance with ethical and insurance billing standards
• Make appropriate referrals to other agencies and provide advocacy as needed
• Act as a resource person for staff
• Attend staff meetings and scheduled in-service training as assigned

Training and Supervision

Compliance

Maintain client case records within electronic case management, scheduling software, and data / grant management software as required by the agency and in accordance with ethical guidelines, policy, and procedures

WORKING CONDITIONS : Work is performed in a typical office environment with a high standard of confidentiality. A typical work week is M-T 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm, Friday 9 : 00am-4 : 00pm, and at least one evening a week until 7 : 00pm. This may vary based on the needs of the clients. Full time staff are encouraged to work at least 2 days per week in-person and may work 3 days remotely. Any counseling staff member that provides telehealth services from their home must have a confidential space to provide services.

COMPENSATION

This position offers a hiring range of $48,000 that is based on experience and a full benefits packet to include health, vision, and dental insurance, 17 paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, retirement and other benefits.
