Maintenance Specialist

Position Overview : This role involves performing routine maintenance, addressing urgent repairs, and coordinating with contractors to maintain a high standard of living for all residents.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform regular inspections of rental unit, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, light carpentry, plumbing repairs, and electrical work.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, resolving issues efficiently and with minimal disruption.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large-scale projects; supervise work to ensure it meets building standards and deadlines.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Assist in emergency situations, providing swift and effective response to issues such as water leaks, power outages, and fire alarms.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including proper use of equipment and adherence to building codes.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure readiness for any tasks.
• Communicate effectively with the property management team and residents, providing updates on maintenance activities and upcoming projects.
