Practice Environment :

  • 355-bed regional medical center (CommonSpirit Hospital System)
  • The Anesthesiology department is diverse, consisting of 12 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 resident physicians providing services for up to 16 anesthetizing locations daily.
  • The annual anesthesia case volume is approximately. 14,300 cases, consisting of ~ 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab / Cath Lab, and interventional radiology.
  • OB services with 3,000 births annually

  • St. Joseph's Surgery Center is a dedicated surgery center and part of the Dignity Health network. It offers high-quality, compassionate care to the Stockton community and surrounding areas. The center provides a range of surgical services, including ENT, general surgery, and GI surgery.
  • The Anesthesia Residency program started in July 2021.
