Weseek a qualified Computer Technician to maintain and reimage DellAcer and Toshiba laptops. We have an image with all the softwareassociated with each laptop model that has been tested and working.
Laptops should be tested to see if they boot to Windows. Laptopsthat do not boot have to be reimaged with the provided image forthe laptopmodel.
Asa computer technician you must be able to troubleshoot andrecommend solutions. The operating system for laptops is Windows 8and 10.
Laptops are between 510 years old. We do not update toWindows10.
Mustbe able to pick up laptops from our storage locations in ColumbiaMaryland and FairfaxVirginia.
Wewill need annual maintenance with seasonal service asneeded.
Qualifications :
Youmust have successfully reimaged laptops or computers through anetwork using ghosting or clone software of yourchoice.
Youmust be willing to volunteer to set up a network using yourhardware and software and to test up to 5 laptops that we willprovide.
We will give a clean laptop to be used as a master imageto clone to other test laptops.
Responsibilities
Reimagelaptops by setting up a network through a switch and reimagelaptops using the ghosting / clone software youchoose.
Installmissing software anddrivers
Troubleshootboot to Windows failure and other hardwareissues
Pickupbroken laptops and return them once the job iscomplete.
Attendvirtual meeting or email updates onprogress
