General Purpose of Job Performs routine clerical, filing, and data entry tasks for accounting data including accounts payable, billing, and receivables.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities described below are subject to management discretion and may be changed at any time based upon corporate need or reasonable accommodation. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor of this position.
¿ Conducts routine data entry for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
¿ Reviews billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy; alerts supervisory staff of any discrepancies.
¿ Distributes accounting reports as directed.
¿ May assist with mail distribution, answering telephones, and other clerical tasks as needed
¿ Performs other related duties as assigned.
¿ Support of team members to achieve team goals (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale).
¿ Full support of 5S5T program.
¿ Complies with applicable Exedy America Corporation policies and procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities None Required Skills / Abilities
¿ Ability to accurately and efficiently enter data into computer software and systems. ¿ Basic mathematical skills.
¿ Good verbal communication skills.
¿ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
¿ Knowledge of excel pivot tables a plus
Education and / or Experience
¿ High school diploma or equivalent required.
¿ Bookkeeping training a plus but not required.
¿ Knowledge of basic journal entry process
