TITLE : Advance Practice Nurse

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school or as grandfathered by NJ Law required.
• Advance Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Jersey.

CDS, DEA, and Buprenorphine Waiver required.

POSITION SUMMARY

At the direction of Leadership, the Advanced Practice Nurse, promotes and maintains health by providing medical services.

This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION : Master's degree in nursing from an accredited school or as grandfathered by NJ Law required.

LICENSE / CERTIFICATION : Advance Nurse Practitioner CDS, DEA, and Buprenorphine Waiver required.

EXPERIENCE : 1 year experience in addiction required.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Potential for exposure to blood borne pathogens along with infectious diseases. This position requires repetitive motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, and reading, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time. Spends time with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, copier, and telephone.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to department leadership.
