Cisco Network Engineer

Jireh Semiconductor, the silicon wafer fabrication facility of Alpha and Omega Semiconductor located in Hillsboro, OR is looking for an experienced Cisco Network Engineer / Administrator to join their growing team!

The Network Engineer is responsible for all site network communication, which includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network related hardware and software.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

Cisco Network Systems Support

• Work as primary technical engineer to design and install LAN and WAN infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and provide timely notifications on issues based on their severity
• Diagnose / trouble-shoot network problems and perform equipment repair and upgrades when appropriate
• Manage security solutions, which include firewall, load balancers, VPN, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems
• Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment such as hubs, switches, routers, and serial terminal servers
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network connected end-user hardware, software, and peripheral devices
