Job description

We are seeking an accomplished Interim Marketing Leader with proven experience building and transforming marketing functions in B2B environments, specifically targeting large enterprises and professional services organizations. This is a critical 612 month remote engagement, with the possibility of contract-to-hire for the right individual.

Key Highlights :

  • Contract Duration : 612 months, remote, with potential for extension or hire.
  • Industry Focus : B2B, professional services, consulting, and health services (hospitals, state plans, etc.).
  • Ideal Background : Candidates must demonstrate successful marketing leadership in consulting / professional services and selling complex solutions to large organizations.
  • Marketing Function : This is a turnaround opportunity for a hands-on, strategic generalist to reboot and build a robust marketing organization.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Assess the current team structure and marketing capabilities.
  • Act as an internal voice and liaison for ongoing Salesforce Marketing Cloud migration (guiding / communicating between external consultants and internal stakeholders).
  • Develop and execute a strategic marketing roadmap and establish priorities.
  • Drive brand integration following acquisitions.
  • Oversee relationships with marketing agencies and technology consultants.
  • Revamp and operationalize all elements of the marketing function.

    • Day-to-Day Activities :

  • Foster team development and elevate skillsets.
  • Manage the marketing budget with ROI and growth in mind.
  • Optimize and oversee automation processes and technology integrations.
  • Ensure creative and strategic alignment across the organization.
  • Serve as a key change agent for executive-level initiatives.

    • Technical and Experience Requirements :

  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and HubSpot (migration / transition experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated success leading marketing transformation in consulting, professional services, or healthcare sectors.
  • Track record of effective B2B sales support targeting large organizations.
  • Previous experience in brand integration, marketing validation, and ROI-driven strategies.
  • Bonus : Experience with business-to-government (B2G) marketing.
