FACILITY / GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inventory Management : Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, ensuring that quantities are accurate and products are available as needed. Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Oversee the receipt of products, ensuring that incoming shipments match purchase orders and are accurately recorded.
- Data Analysis and Reporting : Utilize inventory management software to track inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries. Generate reports on inventory status, including key metrics such as turnover rates, shrinkage, and obsolescence. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Process Improvement : Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly. Recommend and implement strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts.
- Compliance and Documentation : Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management. Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including adjustments, transfers, and disposals. Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and inventory reviews.
- Coordination and Communication : Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve inventory-related issues. Provide training and support to team members on inventory management practices and software.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field.Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.JOB REQUIREMENTS
