Position : Principal Systems Engineer
Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Principal Systems Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals with solid experience in IT support who are ready to take on more complex technical challenges and contribute to high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities include :
- Identify priorities and respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Advocate for our clients to better serve their needs with a high sense of urgency.
- Take ownership of escalated technical issues from Level-1 support.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network problems.
- Perform system updates, configurations, and maintenance tasks.
- Provide onsite and remote support to clients across various environments.
- Participate in IT projects including deployments and upgrades.
- Collaborate with Level 3 support and other technical teams for issue resolution.
- Document detailed technical configurations, procedures, solutions, and client interactions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT industry standards, support technologies, and best practices to deliver efficient, reliable, and user-focused technical support.
- Demonstrates strong accountability and reliability by consistently meeting deadlines, responding promptly to support requests, and following through on commitments to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Engage in continuous learning through training, certifications, and professional development to stay ahead of technological advancements and enhance support capabilities
Required Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a managed services environment.Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure.Experience with networking protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, VPN).Demonstrated familiarity with a broad range of MSP platforms and security tools, including backup solutions, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Managed Detection and Response (MDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and perimeter security technologies, to ensure resilient and proactive IT infrastructure protection.Associate degree or higher in technology, or equivalent certifications ( CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft SC / AZ) preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Soft Skills :
