Insurance Document Associate
Genesis10 is seeking an Insurance Document Associate for a full-time position with a financial services company located in Milwaukee, WI. This role is 100% onsite. Compensation : $14.00 - $15.00 per hour. Summary : As an Insurance Document Associate, you will work as part of a team responsible for opening, evaluating, acknowledging, and distributing mail in support of an assigned business unit. You will ensure incoming mail reaches the correct destination, officially identify and acknowledge receipt of all incoming mail, and report required information to the underwriter. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Mail Processing & Distribution : Open, evaluate, and route mail to the appropriate business area. Officially identify and acknowledge receipt of all incoming mail per established guidelines. Report relevant information to underwriters and complete associated forms.
- Receive and slot mail for distribution, sort and deliver printouts, manage FedEx sorting and distribution, and assist with electronic document conversion.
- Complete underwriting and / or claims document review and audit by identifying and analyzing applications and documents for all product lines.
- Review high-priority insurance, mail, and claim documents; identify and reroute misrouted forms. Coordinate and classify documents per product guidelines and prepare them for scanning with correct ID sheets and order.
- Process checks and DI benefits mail per established procedures, including indexing and routing as needed. Analyze and review documents auto-classified / indexed by the system to identify and correct issues.
- Review and ensure correct document type, policy number, and insured name. Identify and manually index documents not recognized by the system. Verify image quality, delete blank pages, and rescan as necessary. Review and process underwriting and claims faxes, ensuring proper order and classification.
- Meet all SLAs for accuracy and timeliness. Handle original document requests and assist with testing and validation of document classification systems. Support LAN monitoring and perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader or Manager.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.12 years of prior mail handling or customer service experience required.Strong ability to coordinate and prioritize under tight time constraints.High degree of accuracy and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Basic PC proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems.Proven team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with privacy laws and company standards.Must be able to lift 15-20 lbs consistently.Only candidates available and ready to start immediately will be considered.
