Operations Manager

SURTASS provides an on-demand, mobile, and active / passive maritime surveillance capability in support of Joint and Naval Task Force commanders via towed acoustic sensor systems. The ships and installed SURTASS mission equipment are designed for extended duration and independent operations in remote geographic areas. Thus, self-sufficiency in operations and maintenance is an important mission objective. It is intended that operations and maintenance be performed on board vessels and in depot maintenance facilities with the objective of maximizing operational readiness.

The Operations Manager shall :

• Manage staffing, qualifying, training, operations, and organizational level maintenance execution of the O&M crews.
• Develop and maintain the contractor Operations IMS.
• This position will not involve corporate operations work and interface, as the Operations Manager shall be solely focused on crew support to the government.

Education : Associate's Degree, or higher, in Business Administration, Resource Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent

The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
