Sous Chef – Seafood Specialist with Creative Vision
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, has a deep understanding of seafood preparation and fish butchery, and brings both creativity and precision to the plate.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef
Expertly handle seafood and execute precise fish cuts
Contribute to seasonal and rotating menu development with innovative, seafood-forward dishes
Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and presentation
Monitor and manage food cost, inventory, and kitchen efficiency
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, reinforcing proper technique and kitchen discipline
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For :
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Sous Chef or strong experience as a lead line cook in a seafood-focused kitchen
Proven skills in fish butchery and seafood prep
Strong creative vision with the ability to develop modern, inspired dishes
Deep understanding of food costing, waste reduction, and kitchen margins
Leadership qualities with excellent communication and organizational skills
Passion for sustainability and seasonality is a plus
