Mid-Continent Hospitality is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant General Manager at the brand-new Cambria Hotel Euless-DFW Airport South to support the hotel’s day-to-day operations. This role works closely with the General Manager and departmental teams to ensure excellent guest service, operational efficiency, and team development. Flexibility, leadership, and a hands-on approach are key to success in this role.
Requirements : Hotel Operations
- Assist the Management team with all aspects of daily hotel operations, including working shifts as needed.
- Supervise all department personnel and ensure consistent implementation of hotel standards.
- Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership and professionalism.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Front Office / Guest Services
Oversee the Front Desk operations to ensure compliance with SOPs and LSOPs.Supervise Guest Service Agents and assist as needed.Address guest needs, concerns, and special requests to ensure a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.Support and motivate associates to deliver top-tier service and hospitality.Maintain composure during emergencies or peak activity periods, modeling calm and effective leadership.Resolve guest issues by researching problems and offering thoughtful, effective solutions.Human Resources / Training
Train new hires in guest service standards and financial handling systems.Provide performance feedback, address concerns, and recommend disciplinary actions as needed.Foster open communication and resolve staff issues effectively.Administrative / Finance
Assist the General Manager with key administrative tasks, including :Accounting and payroll
Budget tracking and planningInventory control and orderingGeneral Expectations
Maintain reliable attendance and a flexible work schedule, including availability for weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
