Job Title : Senior Product Compliance Engineer
Overview
Entegris is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Senior Product Compliance Engineering role supporting strategic product lines within our Fluid Management Business, including but not limited to particle analyzers and concentration monitors, photochemical dispense systems, pressure vessels, and chemical containers. These products are a critical process solution enabling the most advanced semiconductor processes and leading-edge logic and memory applications.

The role
Entegris is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Senior Product Compliance Engineering role supporting strategic product lines within our Fluid Management Business, including but not limited to particle analyzers and concentration monitors, photochemical dispense systems, pressure vessels, and chemical containers. The role will lead compliance activities for existing products and the development of next generation systems from conception through commercialization. The candidate should be familiar and comfortable with a stage-gate approach for Technology Development and New Product Introduction as well as design, documentation, and layout product formats to satisfy the requirements, and support improvement initiatives of existing and new products.
What you'll do
- Identify applicable product standards and lay out plans to achieve or maintain compliance (e.g., CE, S2 / S8, Ex, and other safety regulations).
- Plan and lead execution of compliance testing, involving necessary electrical, software, mechanical, and marketing functions.
- Interface with third-party test labs and certification bodies.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation and technical files.
- Support risk assessments and hazard analysis.
- Monitor regulatory changes and update processes accordingly.
- Manage certifications and permits with required approvals, ensuring records are controlled and accessible when needed from our permit database.
- Assess effects of product change and impact to regulatory / standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, FMEA, and compliance design reviews during product development.
- Support and coordinate factory audits, surveillance inspections, and NRTL follow-up services.
- Provide training and guidance to engineering and product teams on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Monitor and interpret changes in global regulatory standards and implement necessary updates.
What you'll bring
Leadership : Proven experience leading compliance projects related to product certification, changes, and surveillance / audits. Demonstrated ability to drive accountability to appropriate functions for achieving and maintaining compliance and product safety.Educational Background : Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, and 6+ years of directly related experience is required.Experience : Experience with product / component certification and application of SEMI S2 / S8 standards, 61010-1 General Product Safety, CE / EU Directives, UL listings, UN / DOT, and / or Explosive Atmosphere (ATEX, IECEx, etc.). Experience supporting audits, factory inspections, and certification renewals. Experience preparing Constructional Data Reports (CDRs) and working with Nationally Recognized Test Labs (NRTLs e.g. Intertek, TUV). Familiarity with intrinsically safe design and hazardous location certifications desired. Knowledge in semiconductor equipment controls, metrology and other equipment desired.Technical Proficiency : Applied knowledge of industry standards, directives, labeling, and NRTL methods for testing, reviewing and approving documentation.Problem-Solving : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.Team Player : Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Accountability : Detail oriented and able to prioritize workload, self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.What we offer
