What You’ll Do

Oversee and review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger functions

Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and management reports

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate financial records

Manage construction billing, contract compliance, and collections

Ensure timely and accurate Certified Payroll submissions and union reporting

Oversee weekly payroll processing and compliance with prevailing wage requirements

Support budget preparation, forecasting, and job cost analysis

Partner with leadership on process improvements and system enhancements

Assist with year-end audit preparation and external reporting requirements

What We’re Looking For

Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Sage and Exaktime experience strongly preferred

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Construction industry accounting experience a strong plus

Experience

5+ years of progressive accounting experience (construction industry preferred)

Payroll, Certified Payroll, and Union reporting knowledge preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

CPA or pursuit of CPA license a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Salary : $75,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)

Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with 4% company match, Paid Vacation, Sick Leave, Holidays

Schedule : Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7 : 00am–4 : 00pm (in-office)
