Heavy Civil Superintendent | Albany, NY Area

We’re partnering with a well-established general contractor in the Capital Region to find an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead site operations across a range of civil and infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to drive quality, safety, and performance on-site. Projects will include excavation, concrete, utilities, piping, and process equipment installations, with a strong focus on water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and submittals to develop detailed work plans.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor schedules to ensure efficient site operations.
• Prepare weekly timesheets and track labor hours against project budgets.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, engineers, and vendors.
