We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for balancing machines, facilities, and related equipment. This role involves electrical panel design, R&D, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and revise electrical panels, PLC systems, drive controls, and computer interfaces.Develop and test new or modified products, including procedures, acceptance criteria, and reports.Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (fabrication, testing, change notices, operating / maintenance procedures).Ensure compliance with codes and standards.Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on technical design and requirements.Provide customer training and support, including on-site visits.Conduct research and development for new and existing products.U.S. Person status required.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years' experience in electrical panel and power distribution design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Background in industrial machinery & panel design.Proficient in AutoCAD (or similar); EPLAN P8 a plus.Experience with PLC ( Allen Bradley ) and drive controllers preferred.Strong ability to read / write technical documents and procedures.Excellent communication, math, and computer skills; ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).Must travel up to 10%, including internationally.
