Purchasing Manager

Job Tasks :

• Manages and coordinates activities of buyers and support staff engaged in purchasing and distributing raw materials, equipment, machinery and supplies from vendors to maintain FIBA production levels.
• Purchase and negotiate all vendor supplied services as well as coordinate delivery times.
• Obtain product and / or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Insure cost reductions by vendor interaction, product comparison, and knowledge by continuously managing relationships. Perform all purchasing functions in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Support all MRO activities within the organization.
