Job descriptionCurrent or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2 in Ultrasonic Testing; must have documented evidence available for client Level 3 review. Current or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2 in Eddy Current Testing; must have documented evidence available for client Level 3 review. Must submit documented evidence of certification at time of application submission. Willing to work variable shifts, including weekend overtime rotations and occasional shift overtime. Capable of working in confined spaces. 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test). 3+ years of experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units. Current or prior NAS410 or equivalent certified Level 2 in Penetrant and / or Magnetic Particle and / or Radiography Testing; must have documented evidence available for Level 3 review. Able to work from heights up to 55 feet. Experience analyzing and interpreting Ultrasonic C-scans. Digital radiography, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle experience. Able to fit through a 10'' X 18'' oval opening. Experience in inspecting composite material. 3+ years of experience writing NDT procedures and techniques. Understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies.

Summary :
Client is seeking talented individuals for a Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Quality Specialist to support our 787 Quality team in North Charleston, SC.
Applicable and appropriate educational / certification credentials from an accredited institution and / or equivalent experience are required.
Position Responsibilities :
- Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment.
- Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
- Documents, analyzes, and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.
- Utilizes technical competencies to provide feedback on adverse trends.
- Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.
- Conducts on-the-job training (OJT).
- Adheres to Boeing policies, processes, and major inspection methods procedures.
