About The Position

SHIFT : 4x12's Monday-Thursday 18 : 30-7 : 00 First Time Travelers Accepted IF they have Level 1 Trauma Experience Call Requirement : SHIFT : Mon-Thurs, CV call and holiday required First Time Travelers Accepted IF they have Level 1 Trauma Experience Call Requirement : 60-70 hours a month, one weekend a month from Friday at 5pm until 7 : 30 am Monday morning. There is a perm weekend shift, so they would only be called in if a second case came through. Could also be asked to work call occasionally before reg shift from 5-9pm during the week. Required Certifications : BCLS and NBSTSA Skillset Requirement : Minimum 2 years experience, Level 1 Trauma Center, Vascular, Thoracic (Surgery Cases)
- Receiving pump lines from prefusion & preparing them for cannulation, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Carotid Endarterectomy, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR), Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Robotic Assisted Cardiac Surgery, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Thoracic Endovascular Aortic, Repair (TEVAR), Ventricular Assist Device (VAD),
- Heart & Lung Transplant,
- Valve Replacement, and
- Aortic Dissection. Effective 11 / 30 / 24, IU Health will not allow IN RN s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).
