American Traveler is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 18 months of Level 1 Trauma and Surgery / C-Arm experience and current BLS and ARRT certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Position is at a Level 1 trauma center with over 30 ORs, 6 ICUs, a large ER, and 700+ inpatient beds
  • Rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts including a mix of days and evenings
  • Will perform X-rays for extremities, abdomen / GI, spine / pelvis, chest / thorax, ER and OR patients
  • Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required
  • Cerner EMR is used in this setting
  • Floating to other units or affiliate hospitals is required for all travelers
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this position
  • Candidates must work at least 2 out of 3 major holidays
  • Up to 5 days of requested time off can be auto-approved; more requires approval
  • Any former permanent or PRN employees must be separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
  • Module completion is required pre-start
  • Local candidates are accepted for allied and periop / surgical roles
  • No specific charting required beyond Cerner EMR use
  • Dress code requirements are not specified

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 18 months recent experience in radiology, including Level 1 Trauma and surgery / C-Arm procedures
  • Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
  • Must have Indiana or compact license in hand prior to start date; license required if applicable
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
  • Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Two supervisor references required for consideration
  • AHA or RQI certifications are accepted and must be current upon consideration
