Electrical Integration Engineer

What you'll do :

An Electrical Integration Engineer at Scaled is responsible for the design, development, modification, integration, and / or test of various systems on our custom experimental aircraft. These can include :

• electrical power distribution and ground systems
• control signals
• data signal acquisition / storage / distribution
• telemetry systems
• avionics
• display systems
• interfaces between any and all of the above

While we don't expect any of our engineers to know everything, we do look for people who have the capability and desire to learn nearly anything. We provide the responsibility, but also the opportunity, for an engineer to own a sizable chunk of the electrical design scope for a program for much of the life of that program. Our design cycles are short, and that can often require optimization toward schedule vs. really-nice-to-have requirements or design refinement. And we don't throw stuff over the wall - the Electrical Integration Engineer may be responsible for their design from concept through fabrication, installation, and integration, and from component-level testing all the way through to full vehicle flight test support.
