Nurse Manager- Med / Surg ICU located at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour shifts.

Under the general direction of the VP Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager of Emergency Services coordinates available resources to efficiently and effectively provide professional patient care and services with qualities consistent with nursing and Redwood Memorial Hospital standards and at a cost compatible with the fiscal and other resources of Redwood Memorial Hospital. Assumes 24-hour responsibility for the management and direction of patient care and services in the assigned area and delegates authority as appropriate. Expected to assume clinical role at least 20% of the time. Must have a professional commitment to growth, be creative and innovative, and demonstrate competency in interpersonal communication, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills. Must demonstrate an understanding and support of RMH's Journey towards holistic, patient / family centered care.

Required Qualifications :

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school or program.
• Upon hire : California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 3 years Health care management / supervision experience.
